Swimming

Sovereign Star offers a Learn to Swim Program to tamariki before school as part of our unique transition to school program. We work with the Waimakariri District Council professional swimming instructors to teach tamariki how to swim at their own pace and level. Small learning groups are formed for different levels.

Why Swimming?

Swimming is an essential life-saving skill for tamariki in New Zealand. Swimming also provides loads of health benefits which can keep your children healthy and happy at the same time. It is lots of fun for people of all ages and children especially love getting into the water and enjoying themselves.
